The lot was sold by Charles S. Taylor to Georgie McKean for $1,150 in 1908. They were the first to live on the land.
1910 census: Manufacturer Hugh is living with family and two servants of African-American descent.

Despite the 1913 atlas listing Georgie as the owner of the home, it was actually sold by the McKeans to the Stevensons in 1912 for $12,000, presumably for much more than they purchased it since a house was now built on it.

109 Tenby also housed C. Aubrey Houston in the 1930s until his death in 1939. He was a great grandson of George Read, one of only 2 founding fathers to sign all 4 founding documents of the United States.

Thomas died in 1954, and Lillian followed in 1962. Mettler Rittenhouse had control of the property during its sale in 1978 to the Ketterers for $54,000, who sold the property in 1990 to the Canfields for $150,000, down from the original asking price of $208,000. The Canfields sold the home in 2002 for $290,000.
